What is low voltage?

Low voltage refers to electrical voltage with a relatively low value, typically up to 1,000 volts alternating current (AC) or 1,500 volts direct current (DC). In practice, it often includes applications such as household electricity, lighting, and small devices. Low voltage is generally considered safer than higher voltages, but it can still be dangerous if used improperly.
