Atmospheric dining at Tafel 10
In the
heart of Ruiselede, you’ll find Tafel 10, a restaurant where a warm atmosphere
and great food take centre stage. For the interior restyling, they joined
forces with architect Heidi Denoulet. When it came to the lighting, they turned
to PSM Lighting. The brief? Lighting that is not only functional, but also
helps shape the atmosphere of the restaurant. And the result speaks for itself.
A warm first impression
As soon as
you enter, our Moby SH in bronze immediately catches the eye. Its warm finish
and soft glow blend beautifully with the renewed interior and instantly set the
right mood. Above the serving hatch, several ZialedM recessed spotlights
provide focused, functional lighting while remaining subtly integrated into the
ceiling.
Moby SH as an eye-catcher
The Moby SH
also takes centre stage in the dining area. Above the round table, a circular
ceiling base was combined with four different versions of the Moby SH.
Different sizes and finishes, including bronze and gold leaf, come together to
create a playful composition.
Playing with heights
In the
second dining area, the Moby SH makes another appearance, this time in a
completely different arrangement. Several luminaires are suspended from a slim,
elongated ceiling bar. By varying the cable lengths, the luminaires hang at
different heights, creating a light and playful composition.
Lighting that creates atmosphere
Throughout
the interior, the Moby SH creates a sense of continuity. Its soft, inviting
glow enhances the warm atmosphere of Tafel 10 and shows just how much impact
the right lighting can have on a space. The same luminaire, used in a different
way each time.
